Delete your Just Balance / JustBalance account and data

Request deletion by email, without the app

1. Send an email from the address registered to your JustBalance account to team.woowa@gmail.com.
2. Use the subject “JustBalance account and data deletion request” and state that you want your account and its associated data deleted. If you cannot access your registered email, contact the same address for help verifying ownership.
3. We may ask you to confirm ownership before deletion. Do not send your password or authentication codes. We will reply within 30 days and confirm when deletion is complete.

Delete in the app

1. Sign in and open Settings.
2. Tap your email address / Account management.
3. Choose Delete account, then confirm both the warning and final deletion prompt while online.

Successful in-app deletion removes your account and associated records from the live service database. Deletion cannot be undone. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete the account. Deleting JustBalance does not delete your Google account.

What is deleted and what is retained

Exports downloaded or emails retained by you	These copies are under your control. Account deletion does not remove files from your devices or messages from your inbox.

Delete selected data while keeping your account

Open a transaction, enter its edit screen, choose Delete and confirm. Complete synchronization online for deletion from the service. A bookkeeping expense transaction with linked refund entries requires those refund entries to be handled first. Your login account is retained. You may also email the address below to specify which data you want deleted while keeping your account.

For deletion assistance, email team.woowa@gmail.com. You do not need to reinstall the app to make a request.

Woowa ("we", "us", "our") operates the JustBalance mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights regarding that data. We are committed to compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

The app does not access device location, advertising identifiers or your browser history. External authentication and market-data services receive the connection metadata described above.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Account & financial data – to provide and operate the JustBalance service (viewing, editing, and analyzing your personal finances).
• Error logs – to identify and fix bugs, improving app stability and reliability.
• Support, exports and searches – to answer requests, deliver records, enforce export limits and find instruments. Authentication metadata supports sessions and security.
• Developer-support purchases – to verify and consume a voluntary purchase, prevent duplicate or fraudulent claims, and show your verified support count.
• Preferences – to personalize your in-app experience.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to third parties.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following external services:

• Supabase BV (EU region – Frankfurt, Germany) – database hosting and authentication infrastructure.
• Google LLC – Google Sign-In and requested email delivery. Google may provide basic profile information during sign-in; we do not use names or profile images as app features. We also use Gmail to receive support/deletion requests and send requested CSV exports. Authentication and email data are processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play – processes optional developer-support payments and returns purchase data used by our server to verify, prevent duplicate claims and consume the product. Google collects payment-method details directly; JustBalance does not receive them. Google processes its records under the Google Payments Privacy Notice and Google Privacy Policy.

Ticker-request searches and currency-pair validation connect directly to Yahoo Finance. Search text and connection metadata, including IP address, reach Yahoo; currency lists are retrieved from Frankfurter. These services receive connection metadata under their own policies. We do not send your password, balances or transaction memos to these market-data endpoints.

The application database is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Google authentication, email and Play payment processing are separate services; their processing locations and safeguards are described in the linked Google policies.

6. Data Retention

Account and financial records are retained while your account is active. For deletion scope, additional retention and email requests, see Delete your account and data above.

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights:

• Right of access (Art. 15) – request a copy of your personal data.
• Right to rectification (Art. 16) – correct inaccurate data directly in the app.
• Right to erasure (Art. 17) – request account and associated data deletion by email or through Settings → Account management → Delete account; see the deletion section above.
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18) – request limited processing in certain circumstances.
• Right to data portability (Art. 20) – receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object (Art. 21) – object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Right to lodge a complaint – you may contact the German Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI) at www.bfdi.bund.de.

8. Children's Privacy

JustBalance is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
